Saudi Rock Wool Factory is a member of (GIG) Gulf Insulation Group and a Subsidiary of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (Zamil Industrial). Saudi Rock Wool Factory Co. provides the local and international market with numerous thermal insulation, construction and industrial materials. There are two manufacturing units of Saudi Rock Wool Factory. The first one was established in 1992 in the third industrial area south of Riyadh and has a total production capacity of 25,000 tons/year using state of the art equipment and machinery. The Second factory is being commissioned now and shall be operational early 2014. This new plant is located in Al Kharj industrial city and will be the biggest Rock Wool plant in the region, producing 40,000 tons of the different Rock Wool products per year. With this SRWF will be the Largest producer of Rock Wool in the Middle East and Asia Region.
